Would there be this concerted attack on the Q if the patents were expiring in the near term? Why bother and make some of the ridiculous statements such as The Q being the dominate player in 1992. In 92 Q was seeking lines of credit from Citicorp as a non-rated company(which they didn't get). There were questions whether the company would survive. How this now translates to the dominate player is interesting revisionist history but has nothing to do with Q's future prospects. Maybe we should all take the contrarian view that the on going attacks are a good thing with respect to Q's future.
