If you have a problem with something I've stated, then post evidence from a credible source to counter it. The problem with you guys is that you use rightwing smear sites or radio talkshow hosts as "evidence". They are not evidence of anything but unethical and creative ways to distort reality. They are propaganda, not news or fact. There is a huge difference between my facts and common sense opinions and some of the many outright fabricated lies of the rightwing spin machine. Sure I am biased against Bushies, and why not? But I never fabricate anything against them. In the same vein, there is a big difference between Drudge, for instance, and Rawstory. Drudge just makes up stuff much of the time, when Rove or the RNC wants him to. Rawstory sources credibly and ably and keeps spin to a minimum. That is the same difference between me and anyone who buys into the Bushie BS. The entire campaign against Kerry in 2004, for instance, was one big fat lie. No more truthful than an Exxon PR ad telling us how much they care about the environment. 99% of of it was just plain deliberate misrepresentation. That was a disgrace, and combined with the fact Bushies cheated with election fraud and dirty tricks, this country really has reason to be gravely concerned about the survival of its democracy. For if only cheaters and liars win, then we are in trouble. Aren't we? In short, the rightwing in this country has just gone way too far over the line. It's our responsibility as concerned citizens to pull them back. There are rules to this democracy, after all, and this society. We are a nation of laws not corrupt politicians. Government for the people by the people, not government for and by mega-corporate special interests. The rightwing needs to start respecting that for a change.
