I hope he survived. There were four guys in the car and they came looking for me. Spotted my car at a fast food place where my sister had parked it while she worked, and asked for me. Fortunately, they never found me. Don't remember the shocks. But the car was barge. One of my fondest memories is 1957: driving it though Mission Valley on my way to La Jolla beach; top down, gorgeous day; with the seats filled with college girls. lindybill@backintheday.com
