No, it was early morning here, and the tone of your reply and the accusation that goes with it are not appropriate for this thread, for future reference.

I stand by what I posted. Please show me where we took a different tone in the runup to the Iraq invasion.

You don't remember "Boycott France" and "freedom fries"? You don't remember all the references to how many times we saved France and how ungrateful they are (forgetting the times France saved us.) You don't remember how Germany was being held to a lower standard because, after all, they're Germans?

You don't remember accusations against Russia that the reason they didn't support the war in Iraq was because they'd been bribed?

Ditto the UN?

And what an idiot Hans Blix and the rest of the UN inspection teams were because they believed Saddam that there were no WMD? Either stupid or bribed and either way not worthy of respect?
