It's simple. Only place I can exchange with JohnM. He and I go back a long way and are friends. I don't do it often because it would become contentious. I agree with all of the above and thought the original quote was within the confines of our friendship. But the followup about violins and gas chambers was definitely not.

It would be nice to see you post here. You posting your differing beliefs would not be needling- in fact if you hadn't advertised what you were doing as needling, I never would have thought it was. Perhaps you could come over with the mindset of just sharing your opinions? Because that would be really interesting. We can share opinions politely, I think, if we try not to insult, or make the other person out to be a cretin because they don't think exactly as we do.
