RNs are the number one priority for green cards. So are PTs. Former girlfriend is a PT trained in US (undergrad in China) got her greencard a while back, I'm still waiting. Average wages though are not keeping up with inflation (not nominally declining), but in some shortage areas probably are.

I think the whole immigration picture in the US is very hypocritical. You can't change things rationally because of political backlash, instead they just turn a blind eye to the illegals coming in. Occasionally make some noises about it. And on security round up some nuts in Miami and leave the border more or less open... makes no sense.
