<<But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do>>

As appropriate in 2006 as it was in 1963....

"And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand o'er your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead"

Some folks are saying that ken lays casket should be open for the same reason.
BTW, this was probably dylans only angry protest song. It was written in the wake of the Cuban Missile crisis. I dont know how old you are Chris, but during the CMC, it seemed that there was a better than even chance that the world as we knew it would end. I didnt feel that way again until 9/11 when i felt the rumble on the streets of lower manhattan that sounded like a nuke but in fact was the crumbling of the first Tower.
