But its like hockey, you get a point for a tie if winning isnt worth the cost or it involves sacrificing afganistan or our ability to deal with iran and NK which it already has.

Not to sound Machiavellian, but which country is more critical to our economic interests.. Iraq, with tremendous supplies of oil that the global economy needs? Or Afghanistan, which we practically bombed OUT of the stone age?

Personally, I'd like to make a positive impact on both countries, but if I have to make a choice, it will be Iraq.
