The current problem is more serious and is two fold.

1) We definitely have a condition that can with validity be termed 'Global Warming.' Other associated challenges complicate human decision making around this issue, like energy development and consumption.

This is a complicated set of circumstances that is best left to uncorrupted scientific development to deal with. This is already a problem because virtually all of the study and development grants that have been issued over the past few years have a socio/political bias associated with them. So we don't have a body of objective scientists who can serve as a review team... except maybe some retired professors but they aren't part of the system

2) There is a push to politicize 'global warming' that would be more devastating to global societies than the actual environmental circumstance.
