Clever guy that rove........like a trick dog is clever. Genius would be winning elections without smearing the crap out of the opponent even if the stuff isn't true. For an example, if Bush had won the 2000 primary without rove turning McCain into a pansy.

No, rove is just a clever guy/dog/pony who came close recently to having his undies in a bind.
