The ones that tend to annoy me are those for which I don't expect much life expectancy and those that are phrases the meaning of which is obvious. The best example of that today is "wave pool." We all know what a wave is and what pool is. Why does "wave pool" get placement in the dictionary and, say, "car key" doesn't?
