JF, Stem cell research and energy efficiency technology to name two.

Energy efficiency is perhaps the most pressing need we have. Stem cell research is pie-in-the-sky stuff.

But I'll agree that the current administration lacks imagination (the good kind, not PR).

My view is that Clinton may have not been directly responsible for the prosperity of the 90's, but his policies encouraged it, and much more importantly, didn't f*ck it up. Prosperity WITHOUT tax cuts! Job creation out the wazoo, with GREAT paying jobs! How was it even possible the Repugnicans wonder?
