smart people sometimes have dumb kids and dumb people, smart kids. So families will always be a mixture.

There is some "regression to the norm," but intelligence breeds pretty true. That's the problem with people having different color skins. Dumb people tend to end up in the poorest part of town. When dumb people are white, nobody notices. If they are black or brown, it stands out.

There is some concern that the increase in autism rates may be caused by too many smart "high-functioning autistic" people getting together and interbreeding.
