On May 16 and May 17, ... We have not seen this brief, but have obtained a summary of the staff attorney's findings. ... In our view, the staff attorney may not have had access to Qualcomm's own patent portfolio in these matters. It is unfortunate that they didn't take the time to read the full brief before sending out their research. Their use of the "may" word should of triggered my scepticism earlier. Qualcomm's early PR on this matter hasn't served us well either.
