That's very interesting that a movie set became a working building.

I loved the environment portrayed in the movie. Very realistic. I'm not sure I buy the thing with the brother under the log on a rising tide, however.

A movie partially filmed in Wallace Idaho constructed facades over the whole town just so they could use the historic railroad station as a set. It would have been much cheaper to recreate the station in Hollywood, but who knows how movie moguls think?

The movie was Heaven's Gate, with Kris Kristofferson. It was a financial disaster.
