"It happens all the time and there are thousands of evidence cases."

Yet you've been unable to give me a specific example....

Well, in spite of your lack of evidence, common sense would say that you are right.....some small businesses do get impacted by a Walmart coming to town. Those business, however, were probably not very well run and the owner had his own kind of monopoly and was not able to compete when he had to. That's not Walmart's fault.

Competition, Clifford, has been around throughout the history of our capitalist system. It is sometimes brutal but in the end it is the reason we live in the richest nation in the world. If you've ever been in a communist country (and I know you have) you should understand the differences between our system and their socialist system where competition doesn't exist in any meaningful way. I'll take the "brutal" capitalist system any day and if I can't compete in it then I don't deserve to be successful.

BTW, it's no surprise to me that bleeding-heart-liberals think of competition as evil....so did Lenin and Mao.

"BTW: I think you're lying about being a small retailer who welcomes Walmart to his town. That's an absurd position."

I'm not lying, Clifford....and, I didn't say I "welcome" a Walmart coming to town....it's just that it is going to happen and if I'm any kind of businessman at all, I can deal with it....and I have.

Now get your head out of the playbook and go look at the real world.
