Yep, it was the hand holding that drove me crazy ... I was told that it was a Canadian thing, where gov't regulations required that they look out after the "best interest of the trader!" As soon as I could trade international cheaply from the U.S., I dropped them (and other account I had outside the U.S.).

So which broker would everyone recommend for a US citizen dealing
in mostly Canadian stocks and wanting to also buy warrants?
Global's comissions are just too high to permit in and out
trading for the small size transactions I can afford.
