If Rove is an idiot, what does that make the Democrats he has famously trounced over and over? Let me see.......let me count the questionable ways. Presidential elections, 2000: important questions of propriety in the way the FLA election was handled........Rove sends his attorneys into FLA and the spin machine started......."if we argue too much longer the country will not have a president. The country is doomed. We are headed for disaster." Now let me just stop here and point out that Constitution had this issue covered. We could have gone a year without a newly elected president and been just fine. From that point going forward, the Dems didn't stand a chance. They tried to argue based on the facts. Rove et al don't argue on facts.......its a devilish combo of spin and fear. "Anyone who opposes the president is unpatriotic, unAmerican, weak on terrorism, unpatriotic, unAmerican weak on terrorism. Terrorists are everywhere......red alert, read. Danger will robinson, danger!" We heard that crap for three years straight. Kerry runs for president..........by the time rove's done with him, he and McCain are the weak kneed sisters from Vietnam.....not the alcoholic, fraternity boy who ditched his air force national guard unit, never saw a rice paddy and managed to finagle his way into the presidency. He got that good ole TX boy to fund the swifties' dirty campaign. I could go on but its really making me sick. And I don't blame rove alone........Americans were willing to buy into his message. Americans got everything they deserve........and they will be paying for this mess for the next 50 year.
