The tone of the conversation to that point, and that post itself lead to me to believe that there was no such consideration contemplated. The subsequent posts here confirm that belief. It remains a despicable comment unworthy of publication. A retraction should have been made long ago.

The dead cannot defend themselves from outrageous slanders.

As to your actual question, I really do find speculating on such a thing ghoulish and inappropriate. There is no way for you or I to know the answer to that until those investigating both incidents announce their findings. Is it possible? Of course - anything is possible. But, at this point, I believe that the good and decent thing to do is let the dead rest in the peace they deserve. When the reports come out, there may be something to talk about or there may not. We shall see.
