I don’t recall using emotional words nor feeling anything but a spark of interest throughout this discussion. ”Does some (really important) philosophical system rest on the answer to whether or not time began or did not???” If I knew the answer to whether or not time has a beginning and why it does or does not, I might be able to consider whether or not it is important. Lacking that knowledge, I can’t venture an opinion on a level of importance it might or might not carry to philosophical systems.
