Well, I don't think you can find a post where I said Bush lied. I do think the whole Iraq adventure was poorly planned, poorly executed, with no strategy to deal with the aftermath (except Cheney's belief that we would be welcomed as liberators). Maybe the Iraq invasion was necessary...time will tell and history has certainly not rendered an opinion yet. But the manner in which it was carried out was poor. So, dealing only from an operational viewpoint, Mr. Bush's advisors let him down terribly. And he is carrying that baggage every day.

When the Secretary of State admits to thousands of mistakes and the next day the Secretary of Defense says she doesn't know what she is talking about, one has to wonder.

Perhaps Mr. Bush believed Saddam had new WMD and that his programs had continued after 1991. I don't know what Mr. Bush thought. But we are all judged by our actions, not our intentions. You feel his actions were justified and, I guess, well executed. I still don't know if they were justified but I absolutely do not believe they were well carried out.

Just my opinion.
