I never bashed old man Bush for his war actions.....unfortunately "like father like son" theory failed us miserably.Speaks loads about leadership(of dad).

Is there no middle ground? Do you say that anyone who criticizes the administration is automatically a whining liberal? Part of the great left-wing conspiracy?

There is a huge middle ground. People who believe(d) in what used to be formerly conservative values (spending restraint, fiscal integrity, balanced budgets, lack of nation-building, lack of government intrusion in private lives, small government)....these people are still around. They just can't believe the current republicans who make the 1970's democrats look like pikers on spending and big government. It's not ALL 9/11, you know. And there is more than one way to handle foreign policy. Just because Mr. Bush has taken one path it does not mean that that path should not be critiqued and criticized? Even many republicans feel the need to do that.

Remember this....AuH2o 64? I sure do. Hey, I was a young republican. Back in those days it stood for certain things. I wonder how many republicans in congress today (like Dennis Hastert, he of the famous million dollar personal freeway land deal...sheesh) remember Goldwater.
