The "civil war" in Iraq is raging partly because we are there. Our presence fires passions on both sides and lures in foreign jihadists. 41 more killed today. If we pull back out of sight out of mind, perhaps everything will calm down. Isn't that worth a try? And shoudln't Iraqis be forced to hurry up and secure their own nation? Bottomline, Bush created this mess, and his "stay the course" stance is not working, has never worked and will never work. Few can argue that. In fact the longer we stay, it's perfectly possible, the worst things will get.
