Like I've said repeatedly: I'm not 'anti-war' AT ALL... but I am anti-failure. So, CLEARLY, when there is a MORE EFFECTIVE, more efficient, more certain way of achieving our long-term strategic goals in the world (and there is :-), a 'better way to skin the cat', then I am FOR IT. AS I imagine anyone on the side of American goals like Freedom, Justice, and Democracy, would naturally be. (Waste and confusion and SERIOUS 'negative externalities' afflicting our current policies do not exactly recommend those policies....)
