Of course felons who have served their time deserve to vote. You don't think the guys from the Nixon administration who served their time should be able to vote anymore? After having voting rights restored? Why the hell not?

This rightwing move to disenfranchise totally legal voters is aimed squarely at denying minorities the right to vote because the underclass can't afford good lawyers and gets convicted much more.

Worse still, in Florida 2000, Jeb, GW and Katherine Harris ordered any peson with a similar name as any ex felon purged from the voter rolls. So every Johnny Jones got purged if John Jones in Texas was an ex-felon. Outrageous.

This included tens of thousands of perfect legal voters. It was criminal, it was aimed mostly at denying blacks their right to vote and the Supreme Court should have reversed the 2000 election because of it.
