Legally, as well as in full US Constitutional terms, it is now a wide open legal road from the Geneva treaty which the US has itself signed (thereby giving the Geneva Conventions the internal force of law inside the United States) through the US Federal Criminal Law as well as the Uniform Code of Military Justice (which applies to President Bush under his own title as being Commander In Chief) to a Federal Court for the entire US Military chain of command from the Commander In Chief to the lowest commissioned US officer to be held accountable for international war crimes. None of them are excused.
