[I know this isn't politcally correct for the thread header -- but I'm bullish on bonds, even with all the borrowing for naught. Perhaps he could do a little better if he added some foreign bonds into the mix and shifted 10% into "real" money -- but I say he beats the street to heck for the next 9 months.]

He has a point but if I were him I'd put about half my portfolio into anti-USD hedges (e.g., Au/Ag, foreign currencies, hard currency funds)
