Kerry and Murtha both have plans for Iraq. They are slightly different. "Change the course" is the basic one all Dems except Lieberman agree on. And "bring our guys home" or at least half of them and redeploy the rest out of sight in or near Iraq.

The fall election plan is not revealed yet. And they are smart not to unveil it yet. Let Rove be surprised. But I can tell you what my one-liner would be "bring honesty back to Washington". Because everyone knows Bushies lie and cheat, not to mention steal.

They know Rove is coming with defense/terrorist scares and wedge issues. So clearly, democrats should be able to take advantage, since Bush-Cheney are the most inept sand dishonest commanders in chief in memory. That said, the 16% gap in the polls in DEms favor now will narrow. And Bushies will cheat again.

What I am hoping for is about a 10% margin, 25 seats in congress and 4-5 in the senate. That will effectively stop Bush and allow us to finally investigate some of the most egregious corruption, such as how the last election was stolen. 2000 is too far in the past, but 2004 is fresh in peoples' minds and we are all still smarting from it.
