Nadine, I think Clinton and several other democrats are saying that.

The reason that a lot of them aren't exactly exuberant on it is that they don't want to turn off the left wing of their party. They've seen what's happened to Lieberman and they don't want to start collecting signatures themselves to run as independents.

Bush could care less about gays, but you can BET that he'd never say that publicly.
