THis is not Texas politics my friend. This is world politics which I am sure you know is very complex. Bush does not know that, Cheney does not know that but Bush Sr., Jim Baker and George Shultz knows that.

Bush Sr. had a very focussed objective for Desert Storm. He lobbied for world support including those of the Arabs. He obtained the support, marched into Kuwait, achieved his objective and was a great success. Bush Jr. on the other hand did not much care for the world support including those of the Arab world. He cared two hoots for the Russian, Chinese, French and German support. And sure the support of the Arab world was something that he and his cronies ridiculed.

So when you repeat the propaganda of the Bushies in your response that the people want us in there, that is a typical propaganda of the invading forces. That tactic is not a copyright of the Bush Administration. It has been used in the past by the aggressors.

Do not forget that Malliki and other Iraqi leaders will have to live with the Arabs world if the US should decide to leave. Politically, it is in his interest to come across as opposing the US occupation. Isn't that why he is so upset at the atrocities perpetrated by the US soldiers in Haditha and Ramadi?

I would only ask for you to think independently and take "The View from the Center" which is not about thinking as a Democrat or a Republican but as an American.
