Are WE the world police?

No.

Why are the North Koreans OUR problem?

They're not our problem, their government is a problem/failure for the planet.

Any country that denies its population the right to leave if they choose is basically messed up.

If they want freedom, let THEM win it.

I'd like to help them in their struggle.

From what I've read, most N. koreans LOVE Kim, and almost worship him.

Is that before or after they eat their one meal for the day?

Chris...we ARE the world police!

N. Korea could wipe out S. Korea and Japan WITHOUT nukes and we have been the protectors of those countries for decades.

Are you saying that we should just forget our allies and let what will be...be?

"and almost worship him."

Strike the 'almost'. According to a man who was high in the Ministry of Science and Technology for the old East Germany, there were shrines to his father in every village and many houses. I suspect that hasn't changed.
