I wonder do many Americans not like soccer because it's supposed to be the gentleman's game, but at the highest levels seems to be systemically infected with cheaters.


It's astounding how much corruption there is in Euro sports. We just saw it confirmed in the bicycle races. Corruption seems to permeate Europe at all levels. The French Government is so bad I don't wonder at the riots.

I've heard about more riots at soccer games than football games, and I do not relish or follow either sport.
