I have a lower bid in on AMAT, this looks like a good entry point, near its two year PE low of 20. I think chip demand will be strong, especially with the memory hog called Vista on the horizon.
Large cap AMAT is IMHO a very high quality company with an exceptional balance sheet. Also very cyclical, and maybe this is the bottom of this perceived cycle. It has also been a good trading stock due to its cyclical nature.

MMM keeps dropping. I keep adding.

I like the decent profit margins and relatively low psr.

Stock not a screaming buy, but I'm willing to bet 18 months from now as the business continues to move forward, the stock will recover at least a little from current doldrum prices.
