The NYC market is very upscale, what with it's million dollar 800 sq.ft apartments. That end of the market seems to be holding well everywhere. It's a very confusing picture nationally, with some areas booming NOW, while some have peaked and begun declining, and a lot of flyover locations having no boom at That's right. That's why the landing is likely to be soft. If all were going down at the same time, then it would be a crash. Housing builders are still making good money; just not as much.
