*** OT *** My Flip to FIOS FTTH

Lars,

<< Eric, We had Comcast Internet also (2-3 Mbps down), still use their cable TV (Verizon is not yet offering it here, as far as I know) .... Always wanted "fiber to the house" anyway, since I first read about it 15-20 years ago....Free installation to boot and that was a good thing since it took half a day to get the fiber from the street to the house and the system in the house (back-up battery and what not) set up. ... >>

We've discussed Verizon FIOS FTTH before, and as I mentioned Verizon did the fiber truck roll here last September. FIOS TV was added a few weeks back. I went live on Monday. I discuss my painless, cost saving flip here ...
