"You think they just picked these guys up off the street?" Umm, in many cases that is exactly what happened. Now true, they were turned in by someone, but our criteria for screening those tips was set pretty low. Basically anyone with a grudge could tip our forces, we would pick them up and ship them off.

Nobody who has been sitting in Guantanamo for years is innocent. You think they just picked these guys up off the street? That's what some are claiming. The Afghans were told.....bring us terrorists and we will pay you a bounty. So they did.....anyone they could find. Some were as young as 13 or 14; others were as old as 70. Some were farmers; others were street people. I am not convinced the majority were terrorists. Why are you? One was released and took part in blowing up the Mariott in Pakistan.....nice guys. The majority have been released and have never been heard from since. The facts are against you.....why do you continue to defend a policy that is BS?
