That is nothing - a day or so ago, Shiloh Cat claimed we don't really know who was responsible for 911 - maybe it was bin Ladin and al Qaida or maybe not: The attacks on all three WTC sites? We need to know more about who attacked us. The FBI says they have no evidence it was bin Laden and I think no one wants to defend the bin Laden confession tape in court. So who hit us? I would do nothing until we get a positive ID. I have no hesitation about using military force, so long as I am certain we are shooting the right dog. I would not go before We the People and tell them we were positive it was bin Laden; I'd tell them we just don't know yet. Until we do know, we will not punish anyone. So our intelligence agencies go to work, trying to kind out who hit us and why. Also, who wants to hit us? Do they hate us for our freedoms? Do they have the means to hit us, or are they merely praying to Allah that we will disappear? Message 22608332 And now, today, though they may not have attacked us, SC thinks we need to open a dialogue with and negotiate with al Qaida: If we are negotiating, they have no reason to resort to terror to get our attention. Besides, what is it they want? It may be something we could gladly give them or at least reach an agreement. I do not see terror tactics against us ever ceasing until a dialogue is established. This approach is not weakness, it is strength and it is the only way to ever stop the madness. We cannot kill our way out of it, nor should we even want to.
