I also disliked Eyes Wide Shut. Pointless and depressing and lacking any entertainment value. Another Cruz flop was Vanilla Sky although I really liked the Porsche in the first scene.

I'm a big Kubrick fan. Clockwork Orange, Doctor Strangelove, 2001. Great stuff.

But Eyes Wide Shut was horrible. It had some interesting aspects, and was beautifully lit and shot, but it was a real dog's breakfast. Cruise and Kidman were both terrible in it, he more so than she. At least Sidney Pollack was good.
