Important to remember that pre-invasion shortages in Iraq mostly reflected the draconian sanctions carried out by the "liberal" Clinton regime.

Those sanctions are reported to have caused hundreds of thousands of premature deaths in Iraq -- perhaps as many as have died in the Bush invasion.
