EP, an office mate, lawyer for entertainment industry and entrepreneur who camps out in my office, is now in mumbai, may get a first hand read of what the city's business folks thinks. will tell when/if known.

i figure that such 'bomb on train' tactics are motivated by political aims of some sort, and so far, no one had claimed responsibility.

shouldn't be bullish for the indian stock market or the value of its paper money (but so far, reactions mild), and if so, then expect another double hit on the hedge funds who had not managed to escape fully, either because of hope or due to dilly dallying.

longer term, unless politics are worked out, cannot be a plus for economic reform etc.
