taking some of my civil liberties to protect my family It's a mistake to think that losing your liberty will make your family safer. Your family is safer from common sense precautions such as putting a lock on the airplane cabin doors. When the government starts spying on it's citizens then it makes the citizens more distrustful, not more cooperative. I don't think anyone doubts that Cheney will use his secret powers not only to find terrorists, but also to steal from the american public. TP
