You know, a few years back, my wife wanted an SUV and I told her NO WAY -- it guzzles too much gas. And she said so what, gas is cheap. I said that's not the point -- why consume more gas than you need to given where it comes from, how much it pollutes, etc. Now of course, everyone cares cuz its so expensive. But they should have cared when it was cheap too. So we bought a Ford Escape which gets 20ish mpg. What we need is an Ethanol/Hybrid vehicle. I'm sure there will be many by 2009. Chris
