Ncohunt; Do you have any vision as to what could be accomplished with the savings that Mish portrayed? The US spends close to what the rest of the world does on its military to play these power games by the neocons. Imagine if we instead used the money to develop alternate energy and spent some of that money on medical research or used it on education - to name just a few alternatives? The benefits would be enormous and accrue over time instead of the constant destructive waste. Which from the list do you disagree with? Steve
