During the Bush tenure the economy occasionaly bounces from the depths of the toilet to the rim, and that's only because of massive borrowing.

Coming off a recession and increasing economic activity. What a huge surprise. Of course, it hasn't recovered to pre-recession highs, a startling fact considering that the recession started 6 years ago...

So what went wrong?
