For example, "let's pretend there are rigorous rules for citations on this board. Then let's pretend that someone violated those rules that don't exist and pretend they were trying to claim a quote as their own. We will ignore the little ellipses that usually indicate redacted material and pretend that people make their arguments that way.". And then you pose a false dilemma and expect me to take you seriously. I suppose it is the best you can do, but...
