The sad irony is that we squandered decades of stature and leadership in international human rights issues to perpetrate incidents like your photos, and it did almost nothing to contain the insurgency and violence in Iraq.

Totally pissed away. I wonder if anyone has connected those dots yet.

I cannot believe how sick we have become as a society, that we can see one of our guys posing beside a dead prisoner, giving a thumbs up, and not be collectively repelled.

But maybe he helped fly one of the planes into the WTC and had it coming.
