You know,the platforms used to be made up by the citizens who made up the party prior to the convention. I have noticed for the past 5 cycles *( 20Years) the platforms are made up by the elected elite. This goes hand in hand with the elected not representing the people they are suppost to serve. It also shows why the Senate is so out of touch with the people.
