That movie really pissed me off, because they changed the story. There was no good reason to change the plot- since it is classic, and people are better off knowing the real plot, as this is the only exposure most people will have to it. I remember explaining to my class all the mistakes. One of them was that Agamemnon did not die at Troy- the whole Oresteia cycle (the three plays examining the death of Agamemnon at the hanfs of his wife, and the ensuing death and destruction wreaked as vengence for the death is exacted) depends on Agamemnon returning home with Cassandra as his "prize".
