The current military is broken or on its way to being broken by Dubyette. You don't think he's doing this on purpose?

Dubyette is breaking the military in order to privatize it. He doesn't provide enough troops, doesn't provide enough care, doesn't even provide enough MREs, body armor and bullets.

He does provide the image of 'crusaders' exacting revenge for 911, drops requirements so that gang bangers, neo-nazis, 42 year olds and the barely functioning are welcome and shuffles them all off for multiple tours in a paranoia-creating hotbox.

What did Clinton do on this scale?

What?

Dubyette and his arrogant chief Rummy are directly responsible for the effects of this war. Why don't you wish to assign blame where blame is due?

Why?

Why don't you require the chiefs to figuratively fall on their swords for such utter failures?

Why?

They have enormous power to destroy people's lives, why don't you demand that they take enormous responsibility and accept punishment for failure?

<We tried, convicted, and punished the guilty individuals there just as we will in the future>

The occupation army declared itself immune from prosecution in Iraq. In this case it will be too hard to sweep it under the carpet, but as we are seeing in so many other cases now, the US military is out of control in Iraq, and Iraq itself is out of control.
