Rove doesn´t have a heterosexual bone in his body. He is like a J Edgar Hoover or Roy Cohn type, a typical self'loathing closet queen whose far rightwing fantasies compel him to hatefully attack what´s a big part of him.

He does have a wife. I believe she´s crippled. His first marriage failed. It´s common for closeted rightwing men to marry women, so long as they don´t require sex except maybe once a year to procreate.
